Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to provide high-quality in-home support to clients in a safe, respectful, and professional manner. In this role, you will help promote comfort, independence, and well-being by assisting with daily living activities and offering attentive personal care.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting as appropriate.
• Support mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation using proper techniques and equipment when needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while maintaining a respectful and caring environment.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and other routine household tasks.
• Monitor client well-being and report changes in condition, concerns, or observations to the appropriate supervisor or care team.
• Assist with medication reminders in accordance with care plans and organizational guidelines, when permitted.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and follow established service plans.
• Adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and infection control procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Relevant certification or training in home care, personal care, or related support services preferred.
• Prior experience providing care in a home or community setting is an asset.
• Ability to communicate clearly, compassionately, and professionally with clients and team members.
• Strong reliability, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow care instructions and maintain client confidentiality.
• Physical ability to perform duties that may include standing, walking, lifting, and assisting with transfers.
