Join St. Francis Hospital, New York State's only specialty designated cardiac center, as a clinical nurse in the Cardiac Heart Center Operating Room. The High-Tech Hybrid Cardiac Operating Room includes six new rooms equipped with the latest technological tools and a new post-anesthesia care unit.

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available for RNs with 2+ Years of Cardiac RN Experience*

*Prorated according to FTE

Full Time and Part Time Roles Available on Day, Evening, and Night Shifts

Our Cardiac Operating Room (OR) RNs:

• Circulate and scrub in a variety of surgeries including general, thoracic, vascular, orthopedic trauma, plastics, robotic, pediatrics, etc.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for patients through safety intervention and support.

What You'll Bring:

• Passion for Cardiac Perioperative Services
• 1+ years of Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) experience, Cardiac OR experience preferred.
• Completion of a Periop 101 course or equivalent perioperative fellowship/residency
• Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Will consider Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN program
• Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required, CNOR preferred

Posted Salary Range

USD $54.48 - USD $82.03 /Hr.
