Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, with support from physicians or independently as permitted
• Providing education to patients and families on health maintenance, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic condition management

• Accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications for Success

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Wisconsin
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire within 90 days)
