Summary The position is responsible for maintaining facilities and equipment in an efficient manner to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff in adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Landscape & Yard Maintenance Perform routine lawn care, including weeding, mowing, edging, aerating, fertilizing, and maintaining healthy turf. Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other landscaping features. Trim and prune trees, hedges, and shrubs to maintain an attractive appearance, keep walkways clear, and prevent damage to buildings and property. Inspect, operate, and maintain irrigation systems and sprinklers to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas. Upkeep & Facility Operations Remove litter, leaves, branches, and other debris from company grounds, sidewalks, and outdoor common areas. Empty outdoor trash receptacles and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Perform seasonal property maintenance, including cleaning HVAC exterior units, clearing gutters, and preparing grounds for changing weather conditions. Complete minor repairs to outdoor furniture, fencing, gates, signage, and other exterior property features in support of the Maintenance Coordinator. Inspect grounds regularly to identify safety hazards or maintenance concerns and report issues promptly. Assist the Maintenance Coordinator with facility improvement projects and other maintenance-related tasks. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least two years’ experience in grounds keeping, maintenance or facility operations is required. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and maintain personal auto insurance coverage. Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required. Must have a current TB test or chest x-ray. Knowledge of the requirements for providing services needed to clients. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and CFR‑42 client confidentiality regulations. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team. Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
