Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have robust clinical skills and experience in a hospital setting.

Unit Information

• Location: Derry, NH
• Number of Beds: 20
• Staffing:
  
  
  • 5 RNs on Day Shift
  • 5 RNs on Night Shift
  • 2 LNAs
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Equipment: GE cardiac monitoring, Hospira IV pumps
• EHR System: Expanse

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
  
  
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills.
  • Experience with critical drips.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Preferred Skills:
  
  
  • Experience with pre- and post-cardiac catheterization and pacemaker patient care.
  • Prior experience in HCA settings.

Floating Areas

The position may require floating to Med Surg ICU for border patients and the Emergency Department for ED holds.

Work Schedule

Every other weekend or the equivalent as dictated by staffing needs.
