MedPOINT Management is looking for a detail-oriented and driven NOA Coordinator II to join our team in Sherman Oaks, CA. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting healthcare operations by managing Notice of Action processes with accuracy and efficiency. If you thrive in a fast-paced managed care environment and are passionate about making a difference in healthcare administration, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Process and coordinate Notices of Action (NOAs) in compliance with regulatory and health plan requirements
- Review, track, and document NOA cases to ensure timely and accurate resolution
- Collaborate with internal departments including utilization management, claims, and member services
- Ensure adherence to DMHC, CMS, and other applicable regulatory guidelines
- Respond to member and provider inquiries related to NOA determinations
- Maintain accurate records and data entry within care management systems
- Identify and escalate issues or trends that may impact compliance or member care
- 2+ years of experience in managed care, healthcare administration, or a related field
- Familiarity with NOA processes, utilization management, or appeals and grievances
- Knowledge of DMHC, CMS, and Medi-Cal/Medicare regulatory requirements preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management systems
- Team-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
