We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands‑on experience in tax preparation and financial reporting within a professional environment. This is an onsite role, based out of our Natomas, Sacramento area office. The ideal candidate will assist with various tax-related tasks while developing a strong understanding of financial concepts. Performance is judged based on the quality of work, application of accounting and taxation knowledge, and ability to meet time constraints. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares a variety of tax returns including individual, business, non-profit, property, and payroll. Assists in proofing financial statements tax returns, and other documents. Performs other accounting and tax duties as needed in engagements and as assigned. Plans and conducts portions of smaller engagements as experience and judgment allow. Researches and applies relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and updates Available to work 20-30 hours per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Familiarity with financial concepts, tax regulations, and reporting standards Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment This internship provides an invaluable opportunity to enhance your skills while contributing to our team's success.
