We are seeking energetic and creative educators to supervise and guide PreK‑2nd grade students or 3rd‑8th grade students during our Extended Day Program for the 2026‑27 school year. Our Extended Day teachers work collaboratively with each other to develop enriching activities and projects that align with the mission of the school. Successful candidates will have experience working with a variety of learners across age groups and be passionate about working with children while igniting curiosity, sparking imagination, and helping them build skills in our play‑based program. Daily Duties Supervise outdoor and indoor free play Collaborate with teaching partner(s) to develop, prepare, and implement daily projects/activities such as STEM, arts, sports, nature, or movement‑based Adhere to Extended Day schedule, balancing free choice activities with structured time Maintain a safe, welcoming, and friendly environment for all students Work with the Director of Extended Day to maintain accurate attendance records Ensure safe student dismissal to caregivers Participate in regular check‑in meetings with Director of Extended Day and fellow team members Manage behavioral expectations Prepare spaces, serve snack, and clean up Skills & Qualifications Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to modify programming when necessary Efficient and effective emergency responsiveness Collaborative and creative problem solving Self‑motivated and organized with attention to detail, commitment, and follow‑through Demonstrates strong cultural awareness and responsiveness and experience supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives Values a strong community built upon authentic relationships Requirements Completed or in‑progress Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) preferred Experience working with school‑age children in a childcare, school, or camp setting Prospective employees must pass all necessary background checks At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred Bachelor degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work visa required Schedule September – Early June, Monday‑Friday, 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM One Friday/month, 12:00 PM – 4:45 PM Opening & Closing meetings in late August and early June, TBA *Possibility for flexible dates/hours for the right candidate Salary $17,500 – $19,000 annually.
