In this role, you will provide care for specialized neurology and epileptic monitoring med/surg patients within a Level 1 Trauma academic medical center. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality direct nursing care to neuro and epileptic monitoring med/surg patients. Monitor neurological status, perform frequent assessments, and manage specialized care plans. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed. Coordinate interdisciplinary care with physicians, specialists, and support staff. Assess, document, and respond promptly to clinical changes in patient condition. Qualifications & Requirements Active RN License (Alabama or eNLC Compact License in hand). Certifications: Current BLS and NIHSS required. Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Neuro nursing experience preferred. Schedule: 3x12 night shifts.
