In this role, you will provide specialized care for medical-surgical patients who also present with behavioral health needs (MPIU-PM unit). Key Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients requiring specialized behavioral health support. Perform ongoing patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and implement comprehensive nursing care plans. Administer medications, IV therapies, and clinical treatments safely and accurately. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, psychiatrists, and allied health staff. Document clinical progress, respond to status changes, and advocate for patient safety and well-being. Qualifications & Requirements Active RN License (Alabama or eNLC Compact License in hand). Certifications: Current BLS required. Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med/Surg, Behavioral Health, or Psych experience preferred. Schedule: 3x12 night shifts.
