Mammography Tech - Seattle, WA | $47/hr (Local)

Job Details Jogan Health is looking for an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of dedicated mammography equipment to perform radiologic procedures, including operating equipment, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, assisting physicians and radiologists with breast localizations and procedures, and administering radiographic opaque media. Pay: $47/hr Estimated Hours: 40 hours weekly Duration: 13 weeks with a possible extension What you will do Maintain high standard of technical skills in modality by performing diagnostic and screening mammographic studies. Perform mammograms to ACR standards: Apply appropriate views for particular exam as per radiologist/department protocol. Perform acceptable alternatives when patient condition requires them. Physically assist patients to obtain high‑quality mammograms. Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assist physicians and radiologists with specialized procedures. Maintain working knowledge of mammography equipment. Complete exam paperwork, coding for billing, patient data for tracking, and patient history. Maintain a stocked, organized and clean working area, including equipment, technologist core area and exam rooms. Respond to information requests from patients, scheduling, or other departments. This position may require working in a hospital, urgent‑care, or clinical setting. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education High School Diploma/GED required. Accredited Radiologic‑Technology Program. Experience One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist – required. MQSA Compliant: 15 mammography‑specific CME’s within last 36 months; 200 mammograms performed within last 24 months; 40 hours of initial digital mammography training. Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required. Understanding of mammography procedures required. Must be physically able to position and maneuver patients to perform mammographic studies. Licensure – Must maintain current Washington State Radiologic Technologist License and be Registered AART (R)(M) Certificate. Computer Skills – Experience with Outlook, Kronos, Imagecast, Stentor, IDXterm, Flowcast, and Intranet is highly desired. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jogan Health
