Accounts Payable Clerk

Accounts Payable ClerkCompletes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, performing a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions in the organization, as well as, maintaining accurate accounting records related to real estate loans and notes payable.Basic Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required1 - 3 years accounting experienceKnowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and proceduresTechnical knowledge and skillsStrong computer skills in MS Office applications (primarily Excel)Strong attention to detailsResponsibilities:Check, verify and process invoicesReconcile vendor statementsSort, code and enter accounts payable dataMaintain vendor filesIdentify and reconcile discrepanciesAssist in month end reporting proceduresSpecial projects as assigned by leadersPerform filing and general administrative tasksAssist with receptionist duties.This is a full time or part time position.
