Job Summary

We are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide technical, white glove IT support across our client’s corporate office in Manhattan. In this role, you will deliver hands-on technical support to corporate end users, executive leadership, a various departmental teams.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Diagnose and resolve issues on Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS and Apple devices (iOS, iPads).
\n
• Provide executive/VIP/white glove support
\n
• Provide face to face customer service and walk in support
\n
• Conduct device migration transitioning between Windows and Mac environments.
\n
• Software Deployment & Patch Management:
\n
• Provide technical assistance for desktop client applications, ensuring optimal software performance.
\n
• Conduct installations, moves, additions, and changes (IMAC), as well as break/fix solutions for laptops and desktops.
\n
• Handle procurement, disposal, and inventory tracking of IT hardware.
\n
• Manage devices through Intune and JAMF for enterprise-wide security and configuration.
\n
• Incident and problem management, leveraging NexThink for in-depth problem analysis.
\n
• Deliver desk-side assistance, conference room technology support, and field services for remote sites.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• 3–5 years of hands-on desktop support
\n
• Executive/VIP/White Glove Support experience
\n
• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving issues on Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS and Apple devices (iOS, iPads).
\n
• Walk-in Support experience
\n
• Device Migration: Experience with seamless transitions between Windows and Mac environments.
\n
• Software Deployment & Patch Management: Proficient in managing OS image patching, software updates, and application deployments.
\n
• End-User Support: Providing technical assistance for desktop client applications, ensuring optimal software performance.
\n
• Hardware Services: Ability to conduct installations, moves, additions, and changes (IMAC), as well as break/fix solutions for laptops and desktops.
\n
• Ability to handle procurement, disposal, and inventory tracking of IT hardware.
\n
• Experience managing devices through Intune and JAMF for enterprise-wide security and configuration.
\n
• Expertise in incident and problem management, leveraging NexThink for in-depth problem analysis
\n
• Experience providing on-site & remote IT Support
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the composure to support non-technical teams and executive leaders in a fast-paced environment.
