Job location: Chicago, IL

Job Type: Fulltime (with benefits)

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of client projects
• Participate in field assessments and site reviews to identify potential engineering solutions and make recommendations
• Mentor and develop entry-level engineering professionals
• Complete/oversee design engineering (drawings, analysis, calculations, bill of materials) and related contract deliverables
• Review project design packages to ensure compliance with engineering principles, applicable codes, and industry standards.
• Resolve technical challenges and identify opportunities for improvements
• Evaluate prospective vendors and contractors
• Provide Value Engineering recommendations.
• Prepare Risk Registers / Risk Mitigation Plans.
• Support leadership in managing business development and client relationships.
• Coordinate and provide technical support for third-party approvals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer license REQUIRED
• Experienced with CAD and modeling software
