Civil Engineer

Job location: Chicago, IL

Job Type: Fulltime (with benefits)

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of client projects
Participate in field assessments and site reviews to identify potential engineering solutions and make recommendations
Mentor and develop entry-level engineering professionals
Complete/oversee design engineering (drawings, analysis, calculations, bill of materials) and related contract deliverables
Review project design packages to ensure compliance with engineering principles, applicable codes, and industry standards.
Resolve technical challenges and identify opportunities for improvements
Evaluate prospective vendors and contractors
Provide Value Engineering recommendations.
Prepare Risk Registers / Risk Mitigation Plans.
Support leadership in managing business development and client relationships.
Coordinate and provide technical support for third-party approvals

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer license REQUIRED
Experienced with CAD and modeling software
