Job Overview and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-focused care tailored to the specific needs of the department, while adhering to the standards and scope of practice relevant to their state and specialty. Working alongside medical professionals and other care team members, the RN provides personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care utilizing established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes, thereby contributing to overall departmental success.

• Regularly evaluates patient pain to ensure effective pain management, including follow-up assessments after interventions.
• Executes procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
• Delivers outstanding care by promptly addressing patient requests and proactively anticipating their needs.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up actions, simplifying complex medical terminology for better understanding.
• Instructs patients, families, and caregivers on non-pharmaceutical follow-up actions, such as healthy eating, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications, preparing them for future self-management.

Required Qualifications:

• • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course certification must be obtained within one year of starting employment.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
• No travel is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
