What You'll Do:

• Perform waived laboratory tests such as chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, molecular, and coagulation in a mobile or remote setting
• Receive specimens from phlebotomists and couriers; operate delivery vans when needed
• Enter patient demographics and test orders in laboratory information systems
• Monitor quality control of assays and ensure instruments are functioning properly
• Collect blood samples via venipuncture or capillary methods
• Confirm abnormal or abnormal test results and flag for supervisor
• Maintain laboratory supplies and ensure compliance with state regulations
• Troubleshoot instrumentation, computer, or client issues
• Record and maintain QC records and ensure specimen integrity
• Adhere to all safety protocols related to biological hazards and hazardous materials

What You Need:

• Valid California Medical Laboratory Scientist license or equivalent
• Prior experience in laboratory testing and specimen collection
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Experience in point-of-care testing environments
• Knowledge of lab information systems and quality control procedures
