Job Summary The Sales Director of Warehouse Solutions is responsible for leading the sales strategy, growth, profitability, and sales performance of ProLift’s Warehouse Solutions division. This leader develops and executes strategies to expand market share, strengthen sales execution, grow strategic customer and vendor relationships, and build a high-performing sales team. In close partnership with Operations Leadership, the Sales Director ensures strong alignment between the solutions sold and ProLift’s ability to successfully execute and support them.

 

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Warehouse Solutions sales strategy and annual sales plan to achieve revenue, gross profit, market growth, and strategic account objectives.
• Lead the creation and execution of annual business plans for each Sales Consultant, including territory strategy, target accounts, pipeline development, prospecting expectations, revenue and gross profit goals, and professional development.
• Partner closely with Operations Leadership to ensure effective handoff of sold projects from sales through project execution, installation, commissioning, and ongoing customer support.
• Build executive relationships with key customers, maintain visibility on strategic accounts, support the Toyota Customer Satisfaction Program, and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports and the broader Warehouse Solutions sales team through clear goals, performance expectations, regular feedback, and succession planning.
• Promote ProLift Toyota Material Handling’s values, mission and purpose of “Helping People Carry the Load” to ensure we are customers’, vendors’ and associates’ “Indispensable Partner”.

Educational/Job Requirements The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, 10 or more years of progressive experience in sales and business development with material handling, warehouse solutions automation industrial equipment, or a closely related industry, a minimum of 5 years of sales leadership and people management experience, and display proficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel. The Sales Director of Warehouse Solutions should be detail oriented and highly organized to customers, sales team, and managers, which requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will protect the organization’s values by maintaining confidential information utilizing their ability to handle sensitive information.
