Office Operations Assistant

Performs work under the direction of the Corrections Hearing Officer, the Office Operations Assistant provides essential administrative support for hearings held in Magistrate Court. The incumbent exercises significant initiative and independence to manage the complete court workflow, taking full ownership of creating and maintaining accurate, compliant disciplinary files. Key responsibilities include assembling all required documentation prior to proceedings, serving hearing notices and violation reports within strict timeframes, and promptly logging all judicial findings into the Offender Information System (OIS) immediately following each hearing. Additionally, the role is responsible for compiling and distributing weekly and monthly operational reports, ensuring all final dispositions reach appropriate departmental personnel, and performing other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the proven ability to work self-sufficiently in a fast-paced environment. Work location will be at the St. Mary's Correctional Center and Jail.

Training: Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent.
