HR Generalist

Provide comprehensive HR support, including HR processes, compliance, coworker engagement, and administrative matters Execute and maintain HR processes and operational HR compliance standards across Retail Store and Non-Store locations Coordinate HR compliance activities, immigration processing, I-9 compliance, background checks, and related processes Maintain accurate documentation and records according to company policy and regulatory requirements Support the Sr. HR Manager and Sr. HRBP team with day-to-day HR operations Follow up with field leaders on required HR documentation Serve as a primary contact for routine coworker relations and administrative matters Connect managers and coworkers with HR resources and subject-matter experts Advise supervisors and managers on consistent policy application and interpretation Support managers with performance-related guidance Counsel managers, supervisors, and coworkers on training and career advancement opportunities Support Professional Growth Plans Participate in team learning and calibration sessions Collaborate on programs that foster a positive and engaged work environment Contribute to employee engagement plans and department goals Partner with HR leadership on employee relations initiatives, feedback sessions, and recognition programs Support new-hire onboarding plans and execution Educate new hires on HR policies, internal procedures, and applicable regulations Ensure new-hire documentation and compliance requirements are completed accurately and on time Provide miscellaneous administrative support to Sr. HR Manager and Sr. HRBPs as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field Minimum 3 years of work experience in the HR field Experience with employee/associate relations, performance management, policy administration, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance recordkeeping Experience supporting Retail or multi-unit field organizations preferred Excellent interpersonal and project management skills Oracle HCM experience preferred Experience generating regular and ad-hoc reports tailored to HR metrics preferred PHR, SPHR or GPHR preferred Proficiency with MS Office, Visio, and HRM systems such as Oracle and Workday Effective written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills Attention to detail and accurate documentation Ability to maintain discretion and handle sensitive/confidential subject matter Conflict resolution, problem-solving, and resourceful thinking skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment-related regulations Strong customer-service orientation Advanced computer, data processing, communication tools, and human resources software skills Leadership and coaching skills Ability to multitask and handle high case volume Ability to support a remote/field-based team Ability to travel to Retail Store and field locations Flexible and open to change Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in HR processes, compliance, and employee relations, with a strong focus on onboarding, performance management, and documentation accuracy.
