This position plays a critical role in keeping operations organized, drivers on schedule, and customers informed. Position Overview This is a dual-function position serving as both a dispatcher and office assistant. You will act as the communication hub between drivers and customers while helping maintain efficient day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate can multitask, stay organized under pressure, communicate professionally, and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities Dispatch drivers to client locations for tire pickups Communicate with drivers throughout the day to track routes and assign stops Notify clients of driver ETAs and coordinate pickup windows Provide pricing quotes for tire pickups and drop-offs Answer incoming calls and greet clients professionally Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Maintain accurate tire counts in inventory software Handle filing and general office organization Ensure records and documentation remain accurate and up to date Support daily operational needs as required Qualifications 2–3 years of office and/or dispatch experience required Strong knowledge of the Detroit metro area and road systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong multitasking and organizational abilities Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement Professional appearance and positive attitude Basic QuickBooks or bookkeeping experience preferred Comfortable learning and using computer software Looking for long-term growth opportunities with a company that promotes from within Why Join BSG Tire Recycling?
