Prevention Nurse Specialist

City/State Richmond, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Health Plans is hiring a Prevention Nurse Specialist- Richmond, Virginia This is a PRN position, hours may vary (generally 8am-5pm) Position area is located in Richmond, Virginia ( NOVA, Williamsburg south to Hampton) Travel reimbursement This is a remote PRN status position with Day Shift Hours, requires onsite participation across the Richmond region. Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Virginia or multistate license (MSL))
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or non-degree RN diploma
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 5 years' experience working as a registered nurse
• Active, unrestricted driver's license required for regional travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in community nursing
• Experience in health prevention and/or health education
• Experience providing care to patients with diabetes or cardiac risk factors

The base pay range for full-time employment is $44.99 - $66.85 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
