Monitor Technician

Overview This is a Per Diem position working at Oro Valley Hospital. Summary Scans cardiac monitor and reports significant changes to licensed staff. Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements Education: Required: High School/GED or equivalent experience; Basic EKG Experience: Preferred: Prior EKG or cardiac monitoring experience Skills: Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed. Licenses/Certifications: Required: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification.
