Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a compassionate and organized second shift Front Desk Associate to join our team at a vibrant senior living community, where you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, providing exceptional service and support. Regular Schedule (34.5 hours per week): Pay Range: $21 - $24 per hour Responsibilities: Receive and follow reception schedule/instructions from the Director of Community Living & Outreach. Answer telephone; determine nature of call, and direct caller to appropriate individual or department. Greet and direct guests and/or visitors to appropriate apartment or office. Receive and coordinate distribution of packages and mail. Respond to emergencies, fire alarms, and provide fire alarm panel readings in a timely manner. Assist residents with work requests and input resident work requests. Update electronic tracking at Front Desk including absences and billing for postage, fax and guest suite. Respond to Resident inquiries using Calendar of Events, Resident Guide and Internet. Assist with administrative duties as directed. Create and maintain a calm and positive atmosphere of warmth and personal interest. Utilize the ESL system and print all necessary reports to ensure proper functionality of the system. Communicate resident concerns/suggestions to Director of Community Living & Outreach. Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident information to assure resident rights are protected. Report all unsafe or hazardous conditions. Availability to work as part of a 365‑day operation, including holidays and weekends, is required. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in an elder care setting. Strong verbal and written communication to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff. Ability to resolve issues that may arise in a timely and efficient manner.
