Senior Paralegal - Real Estate

Senior Paralegal, Mergers & Acquisitions (Real Estate) Responsible for the coordination of real estate transactions, due diligence, closing and post‑closing activities related to M&A transactions. Responsibilities Prepare real estate transactions related to M&A contracts, title clearing instruments and closing documents. Review and analyze ground and tenant leases and contracts for estoppel preparation and identify potential issues. Review, analyze and organize due diligence. Maintain the deal tracker with up‑to‑date statuses. Correspond with third‑party vendors to obtain additional information. Follow up with sellers, ground lessors, tenants, vendors, customers and outside counsel on various legal matters. Coordinate dissemination of documents to various departments within SBA. Prepare letters, memos, and reports. Maintain transaction files ensuring proper filing in online data folders and completeness. Frequently communicate and collaborate with Senior Management as needed. Other projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Associate's Degree (Bachelor's preferred) 5-10 years of real estate paralegal experience. Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions preferred. Previous telecommunications and supervisory experience a plus. Certified Paralegal (or equivalent) required. Language requirements: English (required), Spanish (preferred). Physical Demands Ability to stoop, bend, kneel or crouch; stand, walk, and sit; reach with hands and arms; visual ability correctable to 20/20; sit up to 90% of the day; verbal communication; manual dexterity to input data; ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
