ServiceNow Senior Developer

Salary: $130,000 - 216,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• We need a minimum of five years of professional experience, including at least four years of hands-on ServiceNow development.
• We are looking for strong experience building on the ServiceNow platform in a senior developer or comparable technical capacity.
• We expect practical knowledge of ServiceNow modules, scripting, automation, workflows, integrations, and platform configuration.
• We require proficiency in JavaScript and other ServiceNow development tools and technologies.
• We need experience analyzing requirements, designing technical solutions, and delivering high-quality implementations.
• We value strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• We strongly prefer candidates based in the Washington DC/Metro area due to client location, with up to 25% travel to our office or client sites.
• Nice-to-have qualifications include ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer or Certified System Administrator.
• Additional advantages include experience with REST/SOAP API integrations, MID Server, Service Portal, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.

• We design, build, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise IT service management and platform capabilities.
• We develop and enhance custom applications, workflows, integrations, UI components, business rules, client scripts, and automation within ServiceNow.
• We partner with technical and business stakeholders to gather needs, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver scalable platform improvements.
• We support ServiceNow platform administration, including incident resolution, problem analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• We collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply best practices, ensure solution quality, and keep our work aligned with team and enterprise standards.
• We participate in code reviews, testing, deployment activities, and ongoing support for ServiceNow releases and enhancements.
