This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about helping young learners, particularly in a school setting with diverse needs. The assignment runs from now through January 4, 2027, offering consistent weekday hours—8:30 AM to 3:45 PM. You'll work closely with students, teachers, and special programs, making a direct impact on student growth and success.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure and certification
• Experience in school-based OT settings highly preferred
• Familiarity with evaluating and supporting students with complex learning needs, including those in Life Skills and Autistic Support programs
• Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and organization
• Ability to handle duties such as writing 504 plans for OT-only cases, conducting screenings, and managing make-up sessions

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students in elementary grades, adapting interventions to meet individual goals
• Screen students referred by the Child Study Team (CST)
• Conduct thorough OT evaluations and document findings appropriately
• Draft initial 504 plans for students requiring OT services
• Deliver services to students in Life Skills and Autistic Support classrooms, addressing varied and complex needs
• Complete make-up therapy sessions to ensure service continuity
• Engage collaboratively with educators, school staff, and families to support students’ educational participation
