Anaplan Techno-Functional Consultant We are seeking a highly skilled Anaplan Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Anaplan Model Building, Testing, Enterprise Planning, Data Integration, and End-to-End Validation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of technical Anaplan model-building and QA/testing skills, along with a solid understanding of enterprise business planning processes, data flows, integration touchpoints, and end-to-end validation across planning models and enterprise data platforms. Key Responsibilities Review business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. Validate Anaplan modules, lists, hierarchies, formulas, actions, processes, imports, and exports. Perform end-to-end testing of model-to-model, model-to-Data Hub, and model-to-target system integrations. Validate integrations using technologies such as Anaplan Connect, REST APIs, Airflow, and other integration frameworks. Perform Functional, Regression, UAT, Integration, and Performance Testing across Anaplan planning cycles and Connected Planning workflows. Lead and execute the overall QA strategy for assigned user stories and releases. Create and maintain test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, test execution reports, and defect logs. Work closely with Product Owners, Business Users, Planners, Data Engineers, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases. Perform root-cause analysis, quality reviews, defect triage, and continuous process improvements. Validate Anaplan UX experiences and end-user workflows. Support ALM activities and ensure proper validation of changes across development, testing, and production environments. API, Data & Integration Testing Test REST APIs, microservices, and integration layers connected to Anaplan and downstream enterprise systems. Perform schema validation, data integrity checks, reconciliation, and data lineage verification. Validate data ingestion, transformation, and processing across ETL/ELT pipelines. Validate integrations and data pipelines involving platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and other enterprise data platforms. Verify scheduled jobs, data loads, interfaces, and downstream data processing. Identify data discrepancies and work with technical teams to resolve integration and data-quality issues. Required Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of enterprise planning processes such as: FP&A / Financial Planning & Analysis, Supply Chain Planning, Workforce Planning, Sales Planning, or other related enterprise planning domains. Ability to understand business requirements and translate business rules into test scenarios, test cases, and validation criteria. Strong understanding of end-to-end planning workflows and data dependencies. Technical Skills – Mandatory Strong hands-on experience with Anaplan. Anaplan Model Builder – L3 or above. Strong knowledge of: Anaplan Model Structures, Modules and Lists, Hierarchies, Formulas, Actions & Processes, Imports & Exports, Data Hub, Model-to-Model Integrations, Anaplan Connect, APIs, ALM, UX / User Experience Testing. Strong experience in functional and technical QA/testing. Experience testing APIs, data ingestion, integrations, scheduled jobs, and enterprise data flows. Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and data-quality concepts.
