Phlebotomist- Bilingual English/Spanish

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Villa Park, IL. Work Schedule Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 8:00 am–12:00 pm, Tuesday 4:00 pm–8:00 pm, rotating Friday/Saturday 8:00 am–12:00 pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience with pediatric patients Preferred Qualifications 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation required Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Bilingual English/Spanish required Pay Range $17.75 – $24.50 per hour. Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
