Senior Commercial Insurance Manager (Hybrid)

Commercial Insurance Manager - Hybrid Job Summary Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Insurance Manager to join a team at a well-established, family-owned insurance agency. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of professionals while managing a portfolio of commercial accounts. The position is hybrid, with the flexibility to work from home two days a week after the training and onboarding period. Compensation Package Salary Range : $100,000 - $125,000 (commensurate with experience) Benefits : Comprehensive benefits package, including reimbursements for insurance costs Work Arrangement : Hybrid (2 days remote per week after onboarding) Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development Lead and mentor a team of Risk Specialists to foster professional growth and performance. Conduct one-on-one meetings, annual performance reviews, and ongoing development discussions. Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Commercial Lines team members. Ensure adherence to agency policies, expectations, and industry regulations. Additional Responsibilities Quote renewal business and provide minimal support for new business quoting. Utilize AMS360 software for account management and operations. Qualifications/Requirements Licensure : Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is mandatory. Experience : Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Commercial Lines Account Management at an independent agency. Management experience is preferred but not mandatory; leadership experience is required. Account Expertise : Experience managing a variety of accounts, including contractors, landscapers, construction, real estate, retail, and restaurants. Familiarity with both small and large market accounts. Skills : Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in AMS360 software is a plus.
