Job Description- Senior Ncino Business Analyst
As a senior ncino business analyst you will be responsible for conceptualizing and shaping requirements and implement digital onboarding processes within commercial lending and deposit domain. You will be responsible for interfacing with clients for leading requirement management efforts in the capacity of a domain and nCino SME. You will closely and collaboratively work with both our customers and the engineering, architecture and design teams to help complete requirement journeys from conceptualization till fulfillment. As the nCino functional SME and product owner for a project you will guide the team in making the right choices to maximize success for the project and the customer. Our customers and implementation partners should see you as a trusted business analyst who have end to end knowledge of nCino platform processes for implementing onboarding journeys across lending and deposit products. You must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and carry the ability to interface with and coordinate activities of senior executives across the firm, operations teams, technology partners, and program managers. Prior salesforce knowledge with hands on experience in running SOQL and SQL queries will be a big plus.
Meet the job- Your Role

• As a nCino Business Analyst you will serves as a liaison between the Digital Product Owner, Front Office/Other department SMEs on the business side and IT Application development teams on the technology side to lead and drive requirement management efforts
• The primary responsibility of your role will be to analyze business and functional requirements for for the nCino onboarding platform implementation and ensuring compliant workflows are implemented for multiple product onboarding journeys
• You will work in collaboration with Product Owner, Project Manager/Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, Tech Lead, Developers, Architect teams and Quality Assurance teams to ensure the requirements provided by the business are delivered through the nCino platform
• Act as an nCino SME you will liaison between business partners, development teams and UAT testers and ensure product features are delivered and prioritized as per business and regulatory needs
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing, Customer Acceptance Testing and Post Implementation Validation; provide post-implementation support for new initiatives, upgrades and projects
• Create, review, analyze. own and maintain detailed requirement artifacts /documentation for use internally and externally, such as User Stories, Use Cases, BRD, FSD, Interface Documents workflow diagrams for custom processes
• Participate in product roadmap discussions and ensure the product vision is captured in the form of features, acceptance criterias, user stories etc. and delivered in a streamlined manner
• Provide clarifications on requirements to developers and testers and participate in test case review process for test coverage, validate product delivery and ensure product is delivered as per business needs on nCino

What you need to possess - Key Skills


As a nCino business analyst on the implementation of key business and technology change initiatives within the nCino origination platform, this role would require for the below skills:

• Good banking domain knowledge and nCino platform experience is must
• Should have master's degree with 10+ years of experience in banking and finance domain
• Should have at least 5 years of experience in working as a business analyst / product owner preferably on nCino or Salesforce platform
• Should have good understanding of ncino data model, nCino object model etc.
• Should be aware of commercial lending concepts and how it is configured in nCino through multiple routes and subroutes with complete knowledge on major objects like loans, collateral, covenants, entity involvement etc.
• Should have worked in previous ncino implementation and should have played key role as a business analyst / product owner
• Should have experience of working in medium to large scale Digital Transformation programs
• Should have basic understanding Agile philosophy
• Should have basic understanding of the integration architecture of a banking landscape and also experience in implementing integrations between nCino platform and other core and ancillary systems with in the bank
• Should be able to test APIs and should be well versed with JSON structure and REST APIs
• Understanding of commercial lending processes is a must
• Prior experience on Salesforce core platform along with nCino implementation experience will be highly preferred
• Should be good with formulating and running SQL and SOQL scripts in nCino and salesforce platfrom
• nCino 201 commercial lending holders will be highly preferred
• nCino 301 certification and Salesforce admin certification mandatory
• Perform analysis to understand current functionality gaps and obtain user perceptions
• Coordinate and lead meetings with SME's and key stakeholders to gather requirements/user stories
• Organizing meetings or workshops to interview or discuss with end users, product owner and subject matter experts to understand business requirements to produce business workflow for the purpose of producing Functional Specifications Document (FSD) (or the equivalent agile artifacts - User stories) in alignment to IT roadmap and strategies
• Work closely with the Business Lead/PO and/or User representatives to ensure that solution is designed to meet the business needs
• Work with the various business stakeholders and supporting technology teams to aid in solutioning and submission of the business paper for sponsor approval
• Elicit, document and communicate non-functional requirements to ensure that the delivered IT systems provide business value
• Familiar with tools like Jira, Confluence

Experience/Qualification

• Masters Degree in Finance / banking preferably MBA
• 10+ years of Management or Technology Consulting or equivalent banking industry experience in a reputed institution in the areas of digital transformation, commercial lending and nCino implementation
• Hands on experience of leading and managing Business Analysis/ Requirement Management tracks for large banking (retail/corporate) projects
• Track record of consulting project delivery including managing business analyst teams, producing requirement deliverables, managing projects within timelines and budgets, and interfacing with client executives
• Proven ability to launch and execute successful initiatives in complex and challenging environments.
• Excellent client presence and proven client relationship building capability; willing to provide senior / top level client references
• Powerful verbal / written / communication / networking skills
• Experience in motivating and leading multi-cultural, cross functional teams
• Experience in managing and leading teams
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
• Familiar with offshore delivery model
• Should have good understanding of commercial lending concepts
• Should hold expert level knowledge on nCino platform workflows, customizations, flows, configurations etc.
• Should have good client handling skills
