About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Asset-Backed Finance to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing private asset-backed and structured credit transactions. This role is pivotal in developing tailored capital solutions for specialty finance platforms and lending businesses, leading the execution process from initial structuring to closing, and supporting distribution efforts by engaging with institutional investors. The Vice President will also be involved in managing interactions with rating agencies, evaluating new opportunities, and preparing key transaction documents. A strong background in structured finance, securitization, or asset-backed capital markets is essential, with a preference for experience in consumer lending, small business finance, or point-of-sale lending. Applicants for the Vice President position should have 8-15 years' of experience in the relevant fields, with a proven track record in securitization, ABS issuance, or structured credit execution. The role requires advanced financial modeling skills, the ability to manage multiple transactions, and a strong understanding of legal documentation and transaction mechanics within structured finance. The ideal candidate will have a background in banks, specialty finance lending platforms, fintech lenders, or private credit funds, and must possess excellent communication skills to interact with both internal teams and external partners. This is a high-visibility role with a direct impact on transaction strategy, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior decision-makers and to shape and grow a capital markets function within a scalable platform.
