Staff Accountant

Full Time Staff Accountant December 2026/May 2027 GraduateLocation: Oklahoma City, OK, US, 73120Basic Purpose: Participate as an integral team member on accounting teams to handle daily accounting functions, seek process efficiency improvements as well as identifying methods to improve business performance, reporting, and compliance.Major Responsibilities:Assist with month-end financial reportsPost journal entriesAssist with auditorsAssist with various budget cyclesPreparation of balance sheet reconciliationsUnderstanding and documenting the Company's control environmentProvide quality compliance and administrative support to the departmentCompletion of various regulatory filingsInteract and collaborate with other departments and operationsUnderstand the Company's reporting systems and processesUse discretion and independent judgment in developing enhancements to the efficiency and effectivenessOther duties assigned as needed. Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operational teams across the organization.Analyze financial information and prepare recommendations for review.Education and Experience:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance requiredExperience: 1 years+ relevant work experience preferred but not requiredSkills and Physical Demands:Skills:Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on ExcelSoft Skills: Strong oral and verbal communication skills; ability to perform and make decisions under pressure and strict deadlines; excellent time management skills; detail oriented; ability to multitask and be a team playerTypical Physical Demands:Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stoopingOccasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
