Pay Range: $73/hr (W2)

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m

 

Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join our dynamic team in Gilbert, AZ. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing engineering for circuit card assemblies and sensitive electronics, process development, and continuous improvement and a proven ability to lead teams, qualify new manufacturing processes, and drive operational excellence in a high-mix, low-volume environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee qualification of manufacturing processes for new products and lead continuous improvement for existing operations.
• Manage and develop Manufacturing Technicians and Manufacturing Engineers to meet production, quality, and safety objectives.
• Define and document manufacturing procedures, operation sequences, and work instructions.
• Establish and maintain time standards, cost estimates, and economic run quantities for components.
• Lead evaluation, justification, and implementation of new manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, and suppliers to resolve process issues and mentor team members.
• Own and support automation of manufacturing cells to drive process stability and reduce labor variation.
• Ensure manufacturability of designs through drawing reviews and recommendations; mentor Manufacturing Engineering on design for manufacturability.
• Support NC programming, tooling, and fixture design; assist with program prove-outs and rework processes.
• Lead or support project initiatives and cost estimating for new proposals.
• Promote safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all operations.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of engineering or operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of direct management experience.
• Experience with manufacturing of circuit card assemblies and sensitive electronics.
• Process engineering experience from raw material to finished goods.
• Knowledge of IPC standards and NASA standards for circuit card assembly manufacturing.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to influence.

 

Preferred Skills:

Six Sigma certification or Lean certification.

Hands-on experience setting up and operating SMT machines.

Hands-on experience with circuit card assembly manufacturing.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
