We are seeking a part-time Kennel Attendant to join our team. You will provide routine care for our dogs and cats, including feeding, cleaning, exercising, and monitoring their health and behavior. This role helps ensure that animals are comfortable, safe, and well cared for while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feed and provide fresh water to animals according to established schedules.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, runs, and common areas.
• Exercise and socialize animals through walks and supervised playtime.
• Assist with animal intake, check-in, and check-out procedures.
• Bathe animals as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to pet owners.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with animals.
• Ability to handle animals of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and cleaning for extended periods.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.

Siblings Philip and Pamela found the High Point, North Carolina, pet facility and acquired it from the previous owners, who had proudly owned and operated the establishment since 2010. They changed the name to Loving Pet Inn & Resort, and it was important to them to keep the passion for animals alive in the community. They loved that the pet boarding facility had the largest indoor-to-outdoor heated and air-conditioned runs on 3 lush acres. Pets have large play yards and, most importantly, safety and security.
