COTA - Travel Contract

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Hayward, CA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active California COTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
• Current ability to follow care plans and work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with geriatric and post-acute rehabilitation populations preferred.
• Familiarity with ADL training, splinting basics, and adaptive equipment recommended.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
• Shift Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
• Guaranteed weekly hours: 35.
• Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
