Physical Therapist- Inpatient

Overview Schwab Rehabilitation is looking for a compassionate, dedicated and energetic Registry Inpatient Physical Therapist to join our highly trained and respected therapy team. This unique opportunity allows the Physical Therapist to expand their skills by working as a member of a large interdisciplinary team in Inpatient rehab (spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke and general). One year of relevant experience is preferred. Responsibilities Provide 1 on 1 treatment/care in a unique therapeutic environment featuring 7 large treatment gyms, multiple private treatment rooms, a warm-water indoor therapeutic pool and an award-winning therapeutic rooftop garden. Work as a member of a large interdisciplinary team including PT, OT, SLP and recreational therapists to address the physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs of each patient. Participate in inpatient rehabilitation for adults and children with spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke and general conditions. Qualifications Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA accredited school or equivalent. Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the state of Illinois or eligible for licensure as stated by state guidelines. One year of relevant experience preferred. Need for Monday and Friday shifts.
