Note:

LinkedIn with location (before 2022)
Healthcare experience is preferred but not required . Candidates with strong enterprise Generative AI and LLM experience in other regulated industries will also be considered.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on AI/ML engineering leader who has successfully delivered production-scale LLM and Generative AI solutions. The candidate should have the technical depth to architect and build AI platforms, the leadership ability to mentor engineers and influence stakeholders, and a strong understanding of Responsible AI, governance, security, and privacy.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead AI/ML Engineer with strong expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI application development . The candidate will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale AI solutions that are secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.

The engineer will work with a cross-functional team consisting of 1 Project/Product Manager, 1 Senior Lead, and 3 Developers , along with Data Scientists, AI/ML Engineers, Data Engineers, Application Developers, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI, or a related technical field.
10+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, AI engineering, or related fields.
5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying LLM or Generative AI solutions.
Strong proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices.
Hands-on experience with RAG, vector databases/vector search, embeddings, prompt engineering, and AI application development .
Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
Experience developing scalable APIs and AI/ML services.
Strong understanding of LLM architecture, model integration, evaluation, and deployment.
Experience delivering production-scale AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of Responsible AI, governance, security, privacy, and compliance.
Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence cross-functional teams.
