Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history analysis
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and lab outcomes
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and execute individualized surgical care plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance such as preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and supplying surgical instruments during operations
• Offer remarkable pre-and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and guiding patient education

Educational Background

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant in Georgia
