Role Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, dependable Bookkeeper/Accountant to own day-to-day financial operations across our businesses. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small business environment, takes ownership of their work, and brings consistency and care to everything they do.

What You’ll Do

• Core Accounting & Bookkeeping

○ Manage accounts payable and receivable

○ Issue purchase orders (POs) and customer invoices

○ Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks

○ Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

• Financial Operations Support

○ Track and manage inventory related to warehousing services

○ Support raw materials buying/selling transactions

○ Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation

• Property & Administrative Accounting

○ Track rental income and property-related expenses

○ Manage HOA payments, insurance, and utilities

○ Coordinate with external firms handling rent collection

○ Assist with tax preparation and reporting

• General Business Support

○ Use Microsoft Office (especially Excel) for reporting and tracking

○ Maintain CRM system records and basic tracking

○ Help improve processes and keep operations running smoothly

Skills and Requirements

• 2-5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience in a small business, family-owned business, or multi-entity environment

• Strong QuickBooks Online experience (AP/AR, invoicing, bank reconciliations, journal entries, reporting)

• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable management

• Bank and credit card reconciliations

• Purchase order and invoice processing

• Microsoft Excel proficiency (lookups, formulas, reconciliations, basic reporting)

• General bookkeeping principles including general ledger maintenance and financial recordkeeping

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of day-to-day accounting functions
