Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Wellstar Health System is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide weekend-only coverage in General Cardiology at Columbia County Medical Center. In this acute care role, you will manage cardiology inpatients, perform focused exams, interpret cardiac diagnostics, adjust medications, and collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and ancillary teams. Responsibilities include admissions, rounding, discharges, patient and family education, and participation in quality and safety initiatives, all within a compassionate, patient-centered, and multidisciplinary environment.
