The work environment is in an occupational setting focusing on occupational health, primary care, and urgent/episodic care. The clinic operates Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm CST.Since this is on an as needed basis there are no guaranteed hours. If you have the availability to pick up an occasional shift we invite you to apply.The PA/NP will provide excellent occupational health, primary, and urgent/episodic care for the clinic, while also working collaboratively with other medical and operational leadership at Medcor, other Medcor associates, and key contacts within the client's corporate structure. The day-to-day role of the PA/NP includes close cooperation with the on-site medical staff operating in the clinic and a focus on team care across the Medcor operation for this client.The clinic provides a broad scope of services including the diagnosis and treatment of workers compensation injuries and illnesses, urgent care, surveillance and regulatory exams, and preventative services. This position will work closely with a Medcor employed oversight physician assigned to the site, as well as the operations manager. This position requires no weekend or on-call hours; however, with advanced notice, flexibility for additional hours is preferred, as requested by the client.
