Front Desk Receptionist/ Bookkeeping - Boise

Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring a Front Desk Receptionist/Bookkeeper in Boise, Idaho.

Our client, a well-established local water corporation, is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist / Bookkeeper to join their team. This is an immediate opening with a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate. Pay and schedule: $20.00/hour, Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

What you’ll do:

• Professionally greet and assist clients, visitors, and vendors
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
• Manage the front desk and maintain a welcoming office environment
• Perform bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, deposits, and data entry
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and other office documents
• Process incoming and outgoing mail and maintain organized filing systems
• Monitor office email communications and provide administrative support
• Order office supplies and ensure reception and common areas remain organized
• Assist agents and office staff with daily administrative tasks
• Handle confidential financial and client information with professionalism and discretion
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Perform other administrative and bookkeeping duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting software (QuickBooks experience preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
• Accurate data-entry skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Computer knowledge
• Experience writing brochures, newsletters, articles, or marketing materials is a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screening
