Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a pharmacist covering per diem shifts in the Hoover, AL area. This opportunity requires reliable coverage from Wednesday, September 2 through Friday, September 4, with shifts scheduled from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

This role involves critical responsibilities including checking and verifying medications, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Prior infusion experience is preferred, but candidates with inpatient pharmacy experience, particularly in checking IV and TPN formulations, will also be considered. Familiarity with CareTend pharmacy systems is essential for this position.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Alabama pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience with infusion pharmacy preferred; inpatient experience with IV/TPN verification acceptable
• Proficient in using CareTend or similar pharmacy systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication verification
