Contract | Night Shift | 3×12 or 4×12 Hours | 19:00-07:30 | Every other weekend coverage (subject to change based on need)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions, including sepsis, MI, unstable angina, and Coronary Artery Disease
• Administer and monitor vasoactive drug infusions, IV antiarrhythmic therapy, thrombolytic therapy, and anticoagulation
• Perform and interpret cardiac telemetry monitoring and EKGs, and assist with defibrillation/cardioversion and thoracentesis
• Monitor non-invasive blood pressure and respond to changes in patient hemodynamic status
• Float to like units or other campuses as needed based on census, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Complete pre-assignment modules and orientation requirements within designated timeframes prior to contract start

• Active South Carolina RN license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience with Epic EMR
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible (Night Shift - Adult Cardiac Tele/Progressive Care); candidates residing 50.0-99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Stepdown or similar unit
• First-time travelers may be considered based on relevant clinical experience
• Experience with vasoactive infusions, antiarrhythmic therapy, and cardiac telemetry monitoring in an acute care setting

• Pre-assignment orientation modules are billable (up to 16 hours), offering compensation for your time before the contract begins
