Wound Care Nurse (RN)

Location: 4927 Voorhees Rd, New Port Richey, FL 34653 Work Schedule: Every Weekend and Wednesday Only (7a-7p) Position: RN Wound Care We are searching for a Wound Care Nurse who is team-oriented, driven, and committed to providing patient- and family-focused care. This role will help build a positive culture and support wound healing across our community. Benefits Competitive pay Access to online learning 24/7 to support state licensure and professional development 401(k) with company match Major Responsibilities Act as liaison between the Wound Specialist Physician and nursing staff Participate in the development and achievement of the Wound Care Program and its objectives Lead staff development functions and responsibilities Provide educational programming related to wound care Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards consistent with corporate and external regulatory guidelines Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote wound healing Provide direct resident care, including assessment, treatment, and follow‑up for wound management as ordered by the physician Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for each assigned resident Maintain ongoing communication with physicians regarding resident care; assist surveyors and inspectors to facilitate regulatory compliance under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services Develop and implement innovative ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current Wound Care and CPR certifications Minimum of one year of wound care experience (two years preferred) Current, unencumbered, active RN license in the state of practice Compassionate, qualified, and dedicated to quality care We're an equal opportunity employer.
