Weekend Wound Care Nurse

Wound Care Nurse Job Details Assess wounds; determine wound care needs and frequency with wound care physician. Assist with providing direct patient care for wound care clients Teach and educate clients, families and coordinate care with other nurses Perform wound VAC dressing changes Plan, organize, develop, coordinate, and direct our infection prevention and control program Participate in the Infection Prevention and Control Committee to ensure that an effective infection prevention program is follwed Requirements/Qualifications Current RN or LPN License in the state of Florida Wound care certification and/or 1 year wound care experience preferred CPR certified Experience with wound VAC dressing changes Must possess a working knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, infectious diseases, and aseptic technique to include standard/transmission-based precautions. APIC Certification in infection prevention and control preferred, but not necessary. #J-18808-Ljbffr Gulf Shore Care Center
