Home Health Aide (HHA)/PCA - Live-In Caregiver
Ideal Home Care Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA)/PCA - Live-In Caregiver to join our team! As a live-in caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients by providing high-quality, in-home care services.
As a Home Health Aide (HHA)/PCA - Live-In Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our clients in their homes. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing medication management and administration
- Assisting with meals and snacks
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Providing emotional support and companionship
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, in-home care services to our clients, including assistance with daily living activities and personal care
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the nurse and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients and their families
- Assist with household tasks and errands as needed
Requirements:
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or equivalent PCA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary clearances
