DESCRIPTIONMarket of Choice is now hiring for a Chef, starting at $19.00/hour up to $24.00/hour, based on experience, with growth opportunity up to $28.00/hour. As a Chef, some of your responsibilities will include:Assisting Kitchen Manager in daily activities and supervising salad, soup and other casesConsulting with the Kitchen Manager on a daily basis to ensure that timing of orders and production schedules are coordinatedAssisting the Kitchen Manager with maintaining inventory of fresh products and schedule writingWork closely with the Meat, Seafood, Produce and Grocery departmentsTraining and evaluating employees (as needed)Maintaining positive relationships with customers, vendors and employeesQUALIFICATIONSThe ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience in this field, previous management experience, open availability and long-term commitment to growing with Market of Choice.
