Front Desk Job Description

SwimLabs is looking for a Front Desk professional to join our team. This role reports to the Assistant General Manager/Manager on Duty and involves serving clients and visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; helping keep appointments running on-time; maintaining office operations by receiving and distributing communications; maintaining supplies and equipment; and maintaining facility appearance and cleanliness.

Essential duties and responsibilities include welcoming visitors and clients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries; forwarding information by receiving and distributing communications; maintaining safe and clean reception area and lobby, including restrooms; maintaining client accounts by recording accurate and up-to-date information, taking client payment when necessary; scheduling classes and appointments; assisting clients with retail merchandise; maintaining supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; preparing and tracking donations to non-profit organizations; scheduling, promoting, and participating in special events; complying with employment expectations; making appropriate adjustments when requested by management; contributing to team effort; and updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Other duties may be assigned.

Position qualifications and requirements include a happy and professional disposition; exceptional customer service focus; strong communication skills including telephone, verbal and written communication, and listening; outstanding multi-tasking abilities; dependable and flexible schedule; CPR & First Aid Certified; Bilingual English/Spanish; and experience with scheduling.

Front Desk staff are required to wear SwimLabs® uniforms. Hours are 6-25 hours per week, with compensation of $12.50 - $15.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and skills.
