In this role, you'll help ensure residents and departments have clean linens and clothing while supporting a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities: Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, hang, and distribute resident clothing, linens, and facility laundry Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available and distributed to departments throughout the facility Label and process resident personal clothing and return clean items to appropriate rooms and storage areas Operate laundry equipment safely and maintain proper chemical supplies for laundry operations Weigh, track, and process laundry according to facility procedures and sanitation standards Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete assigned cleaning tasks Report equipment issues, maintenance concerns, and safety hazards promptly Follow HIPAA, infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures Participate in quality improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned Requirements: Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum experience requirement: No experience required; 6 months of housekeeping experience preferred Ability to safely lift, carry, sort, and process laundry throughout the workday Strong organizational and time management skills Good communication and customer service abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and resident-centered environment Positive attitude and strong attention to detail Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-Time Weekly or Same-Day Pay Options Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Employee Referral Bonus Program Retirement Saving Options Education Preferred: High School or better.
